These fudgy brownies are packed with dark chocolate chips and crunchy hazelnuts, making them the perfect indulgence for any chocolate lover. They're easy to make and even easier to devour!
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter 70g
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 250g
- 1 large egg 55g
- 1 egg yolk about 1 tablespoon or 20g
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5g
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil 75g
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder 75g
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 65g
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch 8g
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1g
- 1/3 teaspoon salt 2g
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips 100g
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts 30g
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).
- Melt the butter, add sugar, and mix until combined (no need to whisk vigorously).
- Add the egg, egg yolk, and vegetable oil, and mix again.
- Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt, then mix into the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts.
- Spread the batter into a 9×9-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Let the brownies cool on a wire rack before cutting and enjoying.
