Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave to taste
  • 1/2 cup crushed peanuts
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Melt the Cocoa Butter: Melt the cocoa butter in a double boiler or microwave until liquid.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the oats, chocolate protein powder, and melted cocoa butter. Add the peanut butter and honey (or agave). Mix well until you get a homogeneous consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit of water or milk (plant-based or regular) as needed.
  • Form the Balls: With wet hands, roll small balls from the mixture (about the size of a walnut).
  • Coat in Peanuts: Roll each ball in the crushed peanuts until fully coated.
  • Chill: Place the balls on a baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Make it crunchy: Add some chopped nuts or seeds like almonds or chia seeds for extra texture
Sweeten to taste: Use more or less honey or agave syrup depending on how sweet you like it
Customize: Mix in dried fruits or shredded coconut for a different twist
Store smart: Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months
Perfect snack: These protein balls are great for on-the-go or as a post-workout snack
