Ingredients
1 cup oats
1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup cocoa butter
2 tablespoons honey or agave (to taste)
1/2 cup crushed peanuts
Pinch of salt

Execution
Melt the Cocoa Butter: Melt the cocoa butter in a double boiler or microwave until liquid.
Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the oats, chocolate protein powder, and melted cocoa butter. Add the peanut butter and honey (or agave). Mix well until you get a homogeneous consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit of water or milk (plant-based or regular) as needed.
Form the Balls: With wet hands, roll small balls from the mixture (about the size of a walnut).
Coat in Peanuts: Roll each ball in the crushed peanuts until fully coated.
Chill: Place the balls on a baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
Additional tips
- Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- You can add extra ingredients to the mixture to taste, such as chia seeds, flax seeds, shredded coconut, or dried fruits.
- These protein balls can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Just thaw them in the fridge before eating.
