- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice the star of the show!
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts optional, but recommended for that extra crunch!
Baking Instructions for Air Fryer:
Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes; prepare silicone mold.
Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pumpkin spice; stir well.
Mix Wet Ingredients: Mix pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, egg, milk until smooth.
Combine Ingredients: Fold wet into dry gently; add walnuts if desired.
Transfer Batter: Pour batter into mold, spread evenly, sprinkle walnuts on top.
Bake in Air Fryer: Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 35-40 minutes; check with toothpick at 25 minutes.
Cool the Bread: Cool in mold for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
Baking Instructions for Conventional Oven:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Mix ingredients as per steps 2-5 in air fryer instructions.
Pour batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
