Start your day with a delicious and satisfying breakfast with these creamy Peanut Butter & Banana Overnight Oats.
Ingredients
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1/2 banana
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Nuts (optional, to be added in the morning)

Execution
Mix the Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the oats, milk, vanilla extract (if using), one tablespoon of peanut butter, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Soak: Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
Adjust Consistency: In the morning, take the oats out of the refrigerator. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more milk and stir.
Prepare the Banana: Peel the half banana. Slice part of it into rounds or small pieces, and puree the rest with a blender or fork.
Layer and Assemble: Layer half of the oats in a glass or jar, add a layer of banana and 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter, then layer the remaining oats. Top with the sliced banana and the remaining peanut butter.
Garnish and Enjoy: Serve the chilled oats immediately. Optionally, add some nuts on top and stir well.

Additional tips
- Sweetness Level: Adjust the sweetness by adding a bit of honey, agave syrup, or maple syrup in the morning if desired.
- Add Crunch: Top with nuts, like almonds or pecans, for added texture and extra protein.
- Extra Flavor: Add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of nutmeg to the oats mixture for a warm, spiced flavor.
- Meal Prep: Prepare multiple jars at once for a convenient grab-and-go breakfast throughout the week.
- Temperature Preference: If you prefer warm oats, microwave the mixture for 30-60 seconds before serving.
